Homemade MuesliCourse: Breakfast
I absolutely love cinnamon and the health benefits are great. I have tried so many different recipes and this one is by far the best. When I am craving something sweet I would have this as a snack.
6 cups of rolled oats
½ cup pumpkin seeds
½ cup linseeds
½ cup sesame seeds
½ cup sunflower seeds
1 cup nuts (your favorite)
1 cup desiccated coconut
10 ml ground ginger
10 ml ground cinnamon
10 ml ground cloves
200 ml honey or maple syrup
150 ml coconut oil
- Mix together the oats, seeds, nuts, coconut and spices in a large oven tray.
- Heat the honey and coconut oil and gentle hear and stir into the oats mixture.
- Toast the muesli at 70C for about an hour or until toasted.
- Remember to stir half way. Allow the mixture to cool well before storing in an airtight container.
