Homemade Muesli

I absolutely love cinnamon and the health benefits are great. I have tried so many different recipes and this one is by far the best. When I am craving something sweet I would have this as a snack.


  • 6 cups of rolled oats

  • ½ cup pumpkin seeds

  • ½ cup linseeds

  • ½ cup sesame seeds

  • ½ cup sunflower seeds

  • 1 cup nuts (your favorite)

  • 1 cup desiccated coconut

  • 10 ml ground ginger

  • 10 ml ground cinnamon

  • 10 ml ground cloves

  • 200 ml honey or maple syrup

  • 150 ml coconut oil


  • Mix together the oats, seeds, nuts, coconut and spices in a large oven tray.
  • Heat the honey and coconut oil and gentle hear and stir into the oats mixture.
  • Toast the muesli at 70C for about an hour or until toasted.
  • Remember to stir half way. Allow the mixture to cool well before storing in an airtight container.
