Turmeric Spice Butternut SoupCourse: Dinner, Lunch
500g butternut, peeled and cubed
2 tsp garlic, crushed
2 tsp turmeric spice blend
1 tsp ginger, grated
750ml chicken stock
½ cream/ coconut cream
1 tbs olive oil
1 onion, diced
Salt and pepper to taste
- Heat olive oil in a pot. Fry onion and spices until soft.
- Add garlic, butternut cubes, chicken stock and season to taste. Boil until soft. Blend until smooth.
- Add cream and enjoy with freshly baked bread.
