Chai Spice Granola

This grain free granola is a winner. You can enjoy it on yogurt or add it onto your chai spice oats for to give it extra crunch. You can find all the health benefits of using chai spice here: Chai Spice


  • ½ cup nuts of choice

  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds

  • ¼ cup pumpkin seeds

  • ¼ cup coconut flakes

  • ¼ cup desiccated coconut

  • ¼ cup linseeds

  • ¼ cup coconut flour

  • ¼ cup honey

  • ¼ cup coconut oil, melted

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 4 drops caramel essence

  • 2 tsp chai spice


  • Preheat oven to 180°C.
  • Mix nuts, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, desiccated coconut, coconut flakes, linseeds, coconut flour, honey, coconut oil, salt, caramel essence and chai spice in a mixing bowl.
  • Spray a baking tray with cook-a-spray. Add mixture to the baking tray and bake for 10-15 minutes. Stir every 3 minutes to ensure that everything is evenly browned. It can burn quite easily so keep an eye on it.
  • Store it in an airtight container.
